FromSoftware, the Japanese video game developer known for its challenging action RPGs, has recently announced that it is recruiting large-scale development staff for multiple new projects. This news is pretty big since we’re not used to seeing multiple at once.
The job openings listed on FromSoftware’s website are wide-ranging, covering all aspects of game development (Thanks IGN). This suggests that either the studio is starting on something brand new, or a bunch of projects to be released around the same time.

The fact that FromSoftware is holding mid-career recruitment online briefing sessions also suggests that the studio is looking for experienced professionals to join its team. There are a few theories, like Armored Core or a new Soulslike. While some may think a whole new type of game may come, FromSoftware has really established itself as a Soulsborne maker.
I think FromSoftware is working on a combination of these things. For example, the studio could be working on a new Armored Core game and a new Soulslike game. It’s not unreasonable to think that the studio may be starting work on IPs that will come years from now so they can start releasing one game after the other.
The main site for the job post seems to just describe the position and what it generally does in the industry. There are no real clues to what’s coming next but we’ll keep a watchful eye out.
