Complete Okuchi (Yamato) Fruit Guide for A One Piece Game [AOPG]

The Okuchi (Yamato) Fruit, a Legendary Fruit with nine moves and a unique transformation featuring two distinct modes, can be obtained through the Fruit Merchant’s spin in A One Piece Game [AOPG]. Unlocking the Oni Mode, however, requires completing the Yamato questline and venturing into the challenging Ice Oni Dungeon. This involves defeating formidable bosses and collecting key items. While a Robux bundle for 900 Robux offers immediate access to both the fruit and its mode, grinding for it provides a freer experience.

How to Get the Okuchi (Yamato) Fruit

Acquiring the Okuchi Fruit itself is relatively straightforward. You can obtain it by spinning the Fruit Merchant’s regular fruit spin or through Legendary Fruit spins. While the latter increases your chances, it’s still luck-based and might require multiple attempts. After obtaining the fruit, consume it to gain its base abilities.

How to Unlock Oni Mode – The Yamato Questline

The Yamato questline is the key to unlocking the Okuchi Fruit’s Oni Mode. This multi-step quest involves interacting with Yamato, battling powerful enemies in Dungeons, and collecting two essential items, the Ice Oni Mace and Ice Oni Mask.

Step 1: The First Encounter with Yamato and the Wano Maze

The journey begins by locating and speaking with Yamato, who is located at Flying Skull Island in Third Sea, right next to the Ice Oni Dungeon. They will task you with defeating Oden within the Wano Maze in the Second Sea. The Wano Maze is next to the Big Mom and Aokiji Raid.

Once you’ve successfully navigated the maze and bested Oden, return to Yamato to complete the first step. A good tip to conquer the maze is to use something like Phoenix or anything that can fly and cheese the maze.

Step 2: Accessing the Ice Oni Dungeon and Facing the Ice Oni to Get Ice One Mace

Completing the first step unlocks the Ice Oni Dungeon on Flying Skull Island in the Third Sea. Inside this dungeon, you’ll encounter the Ice Oni, a boss with a staggering 350 billion health. Defeating this formidable foe is crucial to obtaining the Ice Oni Mace, a key item required for unlocking Oni Mode.

Step 3: The Final Step – Obtaining the Ice Oni Mask and Unlocking Oni Mode

After defeating Oden in the Wano Maze, return to Yamato to receive the Ice Oni Mask. This mask, alongside the Ice Oni Mace from the Ice Oni Dungeon, are the two items necessary for the final step. Once you have both items, speak to Yamato once more. They will then unlock the Oni Mode for your Okuchi Fruit, granting you access to its full power and transformation.
