The new summer update to A Universal Time has arrived, called Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2! Along with new abilities and systems, a new raid boss has dropped: Mahoraga, or by full name, Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga. Here’s everything you need to know about this raid boss in AUT.

Mahoraga Raid Boss Guide for A Universal Time (AUT)
Mahoraga is much stronger than a typical boss and is meant to be fought with multiple players in AUT. You’ll need to adapt to his powerful Adaptation mechanic and come up with strategies to defeat him! Here’s Mahoraga’s spawn location, spawn times, drops, and tips.
AUT Mahoraga Spawn Location
To reach Mahoraga, head to the new area added in this update called Shibuya District. The only way to access this area is through the Subway Station by hopping on a train. To do so, walk to the right entrance of the Subway Station, and a popup will appear saying “Train Station (MAIN AREA).” Interact with it, and select “Take me to Shibuya.”
Once you arrive at your destination, exit Shibuya Station and turn right. You’ll see a three-way crossroads, and Mahoraga will spawn there.
AUT Mahoraga Spawn Times
Unlike other new bosses in the JJK update, Mahoraga spawns on global time, not server time. Mahoraga spawns globally every 1.5 hours, starting at 12 a.m EST (midnight), following this pattern in the Shibuya District:
- 12 a.m. EST
- 1:30 a.m. EST
- 3 a.m. EST
- 4:30 a.m. EST
- 6 a.m. EST
- 7:30 a.m. EST
- 9 a.m. EST
- 10:30 a.m. EST
- 12 p.m. EST
Once Mahoraga spawns, a notification will appear at the top of your screen saying, “Mahoraga Has Spawned.”
AUT Mahoraga Drops
The developers have kept the drop chances hidden, so we don’t know the exact chances for each item. However, we do know what items Mahoraga drops:
- Limitless Technique Scroll – Needed for The Strongest [Gojo] Mastery
- Sukuna’s Finger – Needed for King of Curses [Sukuna] Mastery
- Wheel of Dharma – Needed for King of Curses [Sukuna] Mastery
- Simple Domain Essence – Needed for The Vessel [Yuji] Mastery
- Cursed Arm – Needed for The Vessel [Yuji] Mastery
- Death Painting – Needed for The Vessel [Yuji] Mastery
- Shrine Item – Needed for The Vessel [Yuji] Mastery
- Soul Split Katana – Needed for Sorcerer Killer [Toji] Mastery
- Playful Cloud – Needed for Sorcerer Killer [Toji] Mastery
- Inverted Spear of Heaven – Needed for Sorcerer Killer [Toji] Mastery
- Heavenly Restriction Awakening – Needed for Sorcerer Killer [Toji] Mastery
Tips on Defeating Mahoraga in A Universal Time
Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga is designed to be fought in groups. If you try to solo him, Mahoraga will regenerate health faster than you can deal damage. If you want to do it the right way, gather a group of friends and go all out against Mahoraga—there’s even a title for helping defeat him.
Of course, players have discovered ways to solo Mahoraga, and even the developers have shared tips on defeating him.
