How to Get Nocturnus in A Universal Time [AUT]

There are two ways to obtain Nocturnus in A Universal Time:

Completing Dio’s quest at the Joestar Mansion
Crafting Nocturnus at the Gacha Banner

Completing Dio’s Quest

Start the Quest: Talk to Dio (NPC) outside the Joestar Manor. This initiates The Eclipse questline. Access the Joestar Manor via the Ferry Captain.
Quest Objectives:
- Take 5000 damage.
- Inflict 5000 damage.
- Kill Dio.
Quest Reward: Completing the quest automatically grants you Nocturnus.

Crafting Nocturnus

Gather Materials:
- 1x Nocturnus Shard (Epic rarity, obtained from the Ability Banner)
- The World Stand (crafted using 5 Rare The World shards and Shadow Dio)
- 1x Evil Fragment (Rare drop from Loot Crates)
Craft at Gacha Banner: Use the gathered materials at the Gacha Banner to craft Nocturnus.

Nocturnus Moveset

LMB/M1 (Rush Attack): A chain of strikes ending with a powerful knockback.
E (Bloodstained Rushdown): A chain of slashes ending with a powerful knockback.
R (Bloodthirsty Strike): Steals a small amount of the target’s health and heals the user.
T (Crimson Surge): A forward dash attack that slashes enemies in its path.
G (Scarlet Descent): Sends a victim upwards, then teleports them downwards.
H (Redshift Ascension): Temporarily buffs some of your stats.
V (Teleport): Teleports you forward.
B (Vengeful Step): A counterattack. If hit, summons knives to stab the attacker and teleports you behind them.

Nocturnus Lore and Appearance

Nocturnus (formerly DIO’s The World) is a non-canon Epic Stand inspired by DIO’s The World from Stardust Crusaders. It’s a powerful, close-medium range Stand. Despite its average health, its high damage makes it effective against tankier Stands. Sol is its thematic counterpart. While a The World variant, Nocturnus doesn’t have a time-stop ability but does have a teleport.

Nocturnus is primarily black with red accents and glowing red eyes. It features sharp back fins, ridged straps, an elongated headpiece, shoulder pads, three claws per hand, and diamond/rhombus shapes instead of The World’s heart motifs.
