Assassins Creed Mirage Basim With Eagle

If you have purchased the Assassin’s Creed Deluxe Edition, you should get additional items to play Mirage with. These items include the Sand Outfit, Sand Sword, and other cosmetics, so you can spruce up the game whenever you want with a new look for Basim or your horse.

But one question remains: how and when can you claim the AC Mirage Deluxe Edition DLC Items? Use our guide to find out how. If you’re interested in when AC Mirage is set, check out our AC Mirage Time Period guide.

How to redeem Deluxe Edition content in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

You cannot redeem Assassin’s Creed Mirage Deluxe Edition items until you have progressed through the game until you reach a mission called Baghdad Bound. You need to have finished your training, and after a camel ride back to your city, you will have a task to enter the Assassin’s Bureau in the district of Harbiyah. After a cutscene, your Deluxe Edition items will automatically unlock and be available in your inventory, apart from the animal skins, which you need to go to the stable to access.

There is no way to get these AC Mirage Deluxe Edition items early; you have to be patient and reach this point in the game.

If you have reached this point and your items have not appeared, there are a few things you can do.

  1. Reset your system. It’s always worth trying the easiest and most obvious method first.
  2. If playing on PlayStation, go to settings and renew licenses to ensure all licenses are up to date.
  3. If you received codes, make sure you didn’t forget to redeem them.

How to redeem Preorder Bonus content in AC Mirage

To redeem your preorder bonus content in AC Mirage, you need to read the letter on the table addressed to Murjana in the Assassin’s Bureau in Baghdad. This will trigger the Forty Thieves side quest. Even though you’ll receive a notification that the ‘Forty Thieves’ quest has been added to AC Mirage, you won’t be able to access it until you reach Baghdad, kill your first target, and return to the Bureau. I won’t spoil anything.

What are the Deluxe Edition items in AC Mirage?

The AC Mirage Deluxe Edition rewards are all themed on Prince of Persia. This is not unusual, as most Assassin’s Creed games feature items themed after other games, such as Assassin’s Creed Origins has items from Final Fantasy XV, and I love riding around on a Chocobo.

Here are all the items you get in the AC Mirage Deluxe Edition:

  • Sand Outfit
    • When you have this outfit equipped, you get a Second Chance perk
      • Second Chance Perk: Once during a fight, Basim can survive a fatal hit and slow down time for three/four/five seconds.
  • Sand Sword
    • When you have Sand Sword equipped, you get the Healing Sand perk
      • Healing Sand Perk: Killing an enemy while time is slowed regenerates 20% HP.
  • Dagger of Time
    • When you have this Dagger equipped, you get the Dagger of Time perk
      • Dagger of Time Perk: Perfect parries slow down time for three seconds.
  • Hourglass of Time
