Activision and Blizzard titles are coming to NVIDIA’s GeForce Now platform. We knew that some titles would eventually come to the platform, but it sounded just like Call of Duty. NVIDIA is getting powerhouse franchises like Diablo IV and Overwatch 2.
This announcement comes as part of a 10-year partnership between NVIDIA and Microsoft, the latter of which acquired Activision Blizzard in 2023. This deal paves the way for a steady stream of beloved Blizzard titles, including the aforementioned Diablo IV and Overwatch 2, to join the GeForce Now library. Members can expect to dive into these action-packed worlds “soon,” with specific release dates likely coming soon through NVIDIA’s GFN Thursdays updates.
Beyond Blizzard’s offerings, GeForce Now is also welcoming other prominent titles to its roster. Capcom’s dinosaur-hunting adventure Exoprimal and HoYoverse’s spacefaring RPG Honkai: Star Rail are just a few examples of the exciting additions gamers can look forward to. Additionally, fans of medieval sandbox experiences can keep an eye out for Pax Dei, the MMO planned for release on GeForce Now alongside its PC launch.
NVIDIA is introducing new membership options with Day Passes. These are available for both Priority and Ultimate tiers and give a 24-hour window to experience all the premium features of each membership without committing to a longer subscription. Priority and Ultimate Day Passes are pretty cheap at $3.99 and $7.99, respectively.
The coolest part of the announcement was that Mobile gamers basically get the same resolution as PC players. GeForce Now is boosting the streaming resolution for Android devices to 1440p, which is a huge boost for anyone using the service.
Overall, the big seller is the new games coming to NVIDIA, and we expect to see Call of Duty make the list of everything coming. The deal between NVIDIA and Microsoft came when the industry was concerned about Call fo Duty being an exclusive game. We’ll have to wait and see when the cream of the crop ends on the service.
