When it comes to anime and manga, one series that everyone has either watched or heard of is One Piece. One Piece is a shounen manga created by Eiichiro Oda, who began his career with Wanted! at just seventeen years old.

One Piece is a series that follows the main character Monkey D. Luffy or Luffy. He refuses to let anyone stop him from achieving his goal of becoming the King of all pirates. Luffy sets out on a journey through the treacherous waters of the Grand Line and beyond. He is a captain trying to claim the greatest treasure on Earth: the Legendary One Piece!

Since being adapted into an anime series, One Piece has over one thousand episodes and is one of the longest-running anime series to date.

In a tweet from the official One Piece Twitter account earlier this week, they revealed that Eiichiro Oda’s epic tale would be taking a one-month break from June 27, 2022, to July 25, 2022. Today, the official account confirmed that One Piece would be sailing into its Final Act when it returns from the break. Oda created a poster for the announcement with the words “to the final chapter” written on it.

This may seem surprising to some One Piece fans. However, since 2020, Oda has revealed that One Piece had maybe 4 or 5 years left. In 2021, he announced that One Piece would be entering the Final Act. The purpose of the four-week break in the series was for the author to collect himself as he prepares to work on the Final Act of the One Piece voyage.
