Clover Retribution Traits Guide and What They Do
In Clover Retribution, there are 43 Traits available to players currently. These traits are passive buffs that can be obtained just by becoming a race or through different in-game activities. Traits come in different rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Here’s a list of all the Traits in Clover Retribution, starting from Mythic and going down to Common.
Clover Retribution Mythical Traits – 0.15% (rare spin – 1%) (epic spin – 2%)
- Divine Restriction – Earned Trait
- -999% Mana
- -100% Weapon Skills Mana Cost
- +5 STR
- +5 DEX
- +30% Bludgeoning, Slashing, and Piercing damage
- +20% Health
- +4 Speed
- Teleport Dashes
- Immune to Fall Damage
- Allows you to use Mauler, Swordsman, or Spearman skills without having to change your class, as long as you have one of them.
- Devil Host – Earned Trait
- Allows you to use devil union and speak with your devil
- Dragon’s Blessing – Armor Specifc Trait
- Allows you to make multiple mini-wishes through the chat every 60 seconds.
- I wish for health: Restores 25% health.
- I wish for mana: Restores 25% mana.
- I wish for speed: Increases your walk speed by 7 for 12 seconds.
- I wish for a shield: Gives you a shield worth 10% of your health for 12 seconds.
- I wish for clarity: Removes status effects.
- Allows you to make multiple mini-wishes through the chat every 60 seconds.
- High Speed Regeneration – Ryomen Race Specific Trait
- Repeatedly heals you.
- Forced regeneration – Cooldown: 250 Seconds – Mana Cost: 20
- Repeatedly heals you.
- Adaptive Resistance – Mahari Race Specific Trait
- You spawn in with a wheel on top of your head that follows you around.
- Passive: Adaptive Defense
- When you take damage, the Wheel turns, taking more or less turns to adapt based on the complexity of the attack:
- Single Damage type: 2 turns.
- Multi Damage type: 2 turns.
- If you begin adapting to a new attack before fully adapting to a previous one, the earlier adaptation is paused but not reset.
- The Wheel can only adapt to a maximum of two damage types or status effects simultaneously. (will turn black when adapting to 2)
- Once you have adapted to a damage type, you’ll halve ALL damage of that type for 120 seconds. Once you have adapted to a status effect, you won’t be able to be affected by that status effect for 120 seconds.
- When you take damage, the Wheel turns, taking more or less turns to adapt based on the complexity of the attack:
- Passive: Adaptive Offense
- When you deal damage, the Wheel begins to turn, taking more or less turns to adapt based on the complexity of the opponent’s defenses:
- Flat damage reduction: 2 turns.
- Resistance (Halves damage): 2 turns.
- If you begin adapting to a new defense before fully adapting to a previous one, the earlier adaptation is paused but not reset.
- The Wheel can only adapt to a maximum of two defense types simultaneously. (will have black lightning when fully adapting to 2)
- Once you have adapted to a damage reduction type, you’ll ignore it for 120 seconds.
- When you deal damage, the Wheel begins to turn, taking more or less turns to adapt based on the complexity of the opponent’s defenses:

- Attacking enemies now targets weakpoints that stack up to 5 [Stacks can be seen as GUI above your HP, grey/black empty no stack, red indicates filled stack].
- Every attack inflicts a stack, and its damage is recorded. Once 5 stacks are accumulated, the stacks are consumed, and the target takes 15% of the total damage accumulated over the 5 stacks at once.

- Whenever you would die (once every two minutes, trait also doesn’t activate until 2 minutes have passed since you’ve spawned) somebody from your friendlist gets in the way and pushes you aside, taking the hit for you.

- Tough IV – Armor Specific Trait
- +500 Hp
- Sentinel – 60% CON Stat Trait
- Threat generation from attacking increased by 35%
- Max health gain above soft cap increased from 50% to 75%
- Unyielding Sentinel – 60% CON Stat Trait
- Will give you 5% passive defense against all damage types & will increase up to 25% when under 50% HP
- Assassin – 60% DEX Stat Trait
- Threat generation from basic attacks increased by 2%
- Swift Reflexes – 60% DEX Stat Trait
- Increases perfect dodge window by 0.125 and Speed by 5
- Also changes your dash
- Arcanist – 60% INT Stat Trait
- Threat generation from spell damage increased by 5%, and threat generation from healing spells increased by 15%
- Max mana gain above soft cap increased from 50% to 85%
- Arcane Insight – 60% INT Stat Trait
- Every spell use counts as triple the EXP for clovers (clover mastery), you also get a magic damage boost under 50% mana, up to 25%.
- Also turns hard cap on magic damage to a soft cap, 10% of the excess damage above the cap will be added onto the cap.
- Warrior – 60% STR Stat Trait
- Threat generation from attacks increased by 20%
- Max health gain above soft cap increased from 50% to 65%
- Warrior’s Might – 60% STR Stat Trait
- Obtained after having more than 60% of your statpoints into STR
- X2 block damage.
- Natures Bond – Race Specific Trait
- Anytime you’re in a forest-like biome/zone you will gain an extra (you will have green leaves around your head when you have the buff)
- +15 DEX

- Zenith Surge – Race Specific Trait
- Kynthari
- As HP lowers you get an attack boost that applies to ALL damage, caps at 25%
- Legendary Kynthari
- As HP lowers you get an attack boost that applies to ALL damage, caps at 50%

- -30% Mana consumption
- Boss Slayer – Spun for Trait
- +20% Damage against bosses and elites (enemies who display contribution below their health bars)

- Tenacity – Spun for Trait
- +20% Damage Reduction against all damage when below 30% HP
- Mana Rampage – Spun for Trait
- +16% Magic damage
- +16% Mana consumption
- Lyrical Surge – Spun for Trait
- Every 70 seconds you apply melodized to yourself and nearby party members.
- Loved by Mana – Spun for Trait

- Nature’s Channeler – Earned Trait
- Increases flat regen by 2 and % regen by 5 (stacks with mana initiate)
- Gaia’s Blessing – Spun for Trait
- Increases the scaling on Earth Magic and Sand Magic damage.
- Adds a secondary bonus to its scaling – STR, although much less of a bonus than the main stat – INT
- Mystic Savant – Spun for Trait
- -20% Mana consumption
- Superior Speed
