Among Us is a very social game, so it’s quite surprising that you haven’t been able to easily add friends to a list so that you can keep it ready for when you want to play. While there were general alternatives like a Steam list, this wasn’t compatible across all of the devices you could play with. Now, you will be able to keep all of your Among Us friends in one place according to Innersloth.
Here are some of the details behind the new list:
- A unique friend code
- Ability to send and receive friend requests (duh)
- Invite friends to your own lobby
- See who you recently played with
- Ability to block players
- Ability to show/hide your Friend Code (good for anyone streaming!)
- Ability to turn off/on lobby invite notifications (toggle this in the game Settings)
While the friends list is great, what about some new cosmetics? Well, it looks like we’ve got some awesome collaborations with other media properties being added. You’ve got the Ghostface cosmetics from the Scream franchise, which include the mask and robes. There’s Halo items that you can get, which feature Spartan Armor, Helmet, and the Guilty Spark Pet. Plus, you can also get items from the Ratchet & Clank series! There’s Ratchet’s Hat, Outfit, and the Clank Pet!
