From what we’ve seen of the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, there are many situations native to Florida that may happen in GTA VI. One of those situations is that wildlife tends to be a part of the scenery. We’ve seen alligators more than once in the trailer, and it looks like that may be a part of the game.
Seeing an alligator once in a trailer is one thing, but seeing it twice shows that there is a major possibility that wildlife will take a bigger role than it did in GTAV. Red Dead Redemption 2 showcased a lot of wildlife and did it very well, so it’s not out of the capability of Rockstar Games to make wildlife part of the overworld in GTA 6.
In fact, the wildlife in RDR 2 reacted to each situation uniquely and felt like they were really alive outside of the player. Of course, I’ll focus on alligators since it’s something we saw showcased, but we’ll likely see other situations, too. Part of the GTA 6 trailer showed real situations that were added to the game and dramatized. One wasn’t shown but had a huge effect on the country: Tiger King.
While the Tiger King Joe Exotic had his area in Oklahoma, Carole Baskin, CEO of Big Cat Rescue, lives in Tampa, Florida. We will likely see a feud or situation resembling those two, which means there could be tigers and lions. It would be far from a stretch to think that we will see an imitation of one of the biggest crazes during COVID-19 to make an appearance in GTA 6.
My guess is that there will be a Joe Exotic lookalike trying to take down a Carole Baskin lookalike in the game. I can definitely imagine that players will be tasked with helping him, leading to him going too far and ending up in jail. If Rockstar Games doesn’t do this, I’d be very surprised.
