How to Get the Elixir of Life in Anime Vanguards

To get the Elixir of Life in Anime Vanguards, which is essential for evolving Song Jinwu (Monarch) into Song Jinwu and Igros, follow these steps:

  1. Unlock all Legend Stages: You need to have progressed far enough in the game to have all Legend Stages unlocked.
  2. Obtain the Red Key: This is the key (pun intended!) to starting the process. There are two ways to get the Red Key:
    • Random Drop (10% Chance): After finishing any match, there’s a 10% chance the Red Key will drop as a reward.
    • Purchase from Dungeon Shop: If luck isn’t on your side, you can buy the Red Key directly from the Dungeon Shop. It costs 2000 Monarch Tokens.

How to Get Monarch Tokens in Anime Vanguards

Monarch Tokens are earned by clearing the Ant Island in Dungeons Mode. A single Red Key costs 2000 Monarch Tokens in the Shop. Interact with the Song Jinwu NPC to open the Shop.

It’s generally recommended to go the Shop route (buying the Red Key) because it’s more reliable than relying on the 10% drop chance. You can earn roughly 50 Monarch Tokens per match on Ant Island, depending on the difficulty and how well you do.

How to Complete the Red Key Questline in Anime Vanguards

Once you have the Red Key in your possession, you can begin the Red Key questline. This questline has four distinct steps:

  1. Step 1: Kill Ant King 50 Times: Head back to the Ant Island Dungeon and repeatedly defeat the Ant King. You need a total of 50 kills.
  2. Step 2: Sacrifice 30 Mythic (and Above) Units: You’ll need to sacrifice 30 units of Mythic rarity or higher. Choose units you don’t use often.
  3. Step 3: Summon 5000 Shadows with Jinwu’s Arise Ability: Use the Song Jinwu unit in matches. His “Arise” ability summons Shadows. He can summon around 16 to 25 Shadows at a time, so it will take many matches to reach the 5000 mark.
  4. Step 4: Sacrifice Igros (Elite Knight): The final step requires you to sacrifice the evolved Igros (Elite Knight) unit.
    • To do this click on the Red Key in your items inventory, and click on Sacrifice. Select the Igros (Elite Knight) you wish to sacrifice and click select. Then confirm again by pressing the Yes button.

After completing all four steps, you’ll finally receive the Elixir of Life. This entire process is not quick. Developers have estimated it takes around 28 hours of continuous playtime, so it is impossible to do it in one day. Song Jinwu and Igros is a permanent feature, so take your time to get this new Vanguard unit.
