How to Evolve Roku (Angel) in Anime Vanguards

Alright, so you pulled Roku (Angel) in Anime Vanguards from the Summon Banner (nice job, by the way, since that’s the only way to get him right now!), and you want to evolve him into his powerful Roku (Super 3) form. To do this, you’re gonna need to gather a specific set of materials, as you need two unique items called Rotara Earrings, along with various Essence Stones, a good chunk of Gold, and getting enough Takedowns with the unit.

Roku (Angel) Evolution Requirements in Anime Vanguards

Here’s the full list of what you need to collect to evolve Roku (Angel) into Roku (Super 3):

  • Rotara Earring 1
  • Rotara Earring 2
  • 40x Green Essence Stone
  • 30x Blue Essence Stone
  • 30x Red Essence Stone
  • 3x Rainbow Essence Stone
  • 30,000 Gold
  • 5,000 Takedowns with Roku (Angel)

Getting the Essence Stones usually involves grinding out Challenges or using the Crafting system. The Gold will come naturally as you play. For the Takedowns, you just need to equip Roku (Angel) and use him in battles – Infinite mode is generally great for racking up kills quickly since the enemy density is high. You can even track the progress at the bottom of the screen in real-time now, which is super helpful!

The real challenge lies in finding those two specific Rotara Earrings.

How to Get Rotara Earrings in Anime Vanguards

Finding Rotara Earring 1

This first earring is tied to the Martial Island Story stages. Now, finding it isn’t guaranteed every run.

  • Spawn Chance: There’s only a 5% chance that Rotara Earring 1 will appear somewhere on the map at the very start of the stage.
  • The Notification: Keep an eye out for a notification that pops up saying, “A Rotara has spawned!” If you don’t see this message shortly after starting, the earring isn’t there for that run.
  • Farming Strategy: The best way to farm this is to just keep restarting the stage. You don’t need to go back to the lobby! Just hit restart, check for the notification, and if it’s not there, restart again. Repeat until you see the message.
  • Specific Location: Once you get the notification that it has spawned, you need to find it physically on the map. Based on player findings, when you spawn in, you need to go out the gates, take a left, and then take another left. The earring should be waiting for you in that specific spot. It’s tiny though, so look carefully!

Finding Rotara Earring 2 in Anime Vanguards

The second earring follows a similar process, but in a different location. You’ll be hunting for this one during the Land of the Gods Legend stages.

  • Spawn Chance: Just like the first one, Rotara Earring 2 has a 5% chance to appear on the map when the stage begins.
  • The Notification: Again, you’re looking for that crucial “A Rotara has spawned!” notification. No message means no earring on that attempt.
  • Farming Strategy: Same deal here – keep restarting the stage (not going back to lobby) until you get the notification.
  • Specific Location: This one can be trickier to find once it spawns. Players have found it near the enemy spawn point, up on top of a specific mountain near the pink beam shooting into the sky. It’s reportedly very small and way out of the way, making it tough to spot even when you know it’s there.

Remember, for both earrings, the notification is your cue that it’s actually present in that run. Since they only have a 5% chance to appear, you might need to restart quite a few times, but just keep at it, and you’ll eventually get that notification! Once you’ve gathered both earrings and all the other materials, you’ll be able to evolve your Roku (Angel).

Unlocking the Super Vogito Transformation in Anime Vanguards

Here’s how you make the magic happen with your evolved Roku (Super 3):

  • The Swap Mechanic: Roku (Super 3) isn’t just one character; he can swap between his Roku (Super 3) form and a Vogita (Angel) form. This swap happens automatically every four attacks. You’ll see the character model change back and forth.
  • Meet the Swap Count: To enable the fusion, you first need to trigger this swap mechanic at least 15 times during a single match. Keep the unit attacking, and the swaps will happen naturally over time. You can even toggle an “Auto Swap” feature to make sure it keeps happening.
  • Conditions for Fusion: Once you’ve hit 15+ swaps, you need two more things:
    • The unit must currently be in its Vogita (Angel) form.
    • You need to have purchased more than 7 upgrades for the unit in that match.
  • Unlock the Skill: When both the swap count (15+) and the conditions (in Vogita form, 7+ upgrades) are met, a special skill called ‘Rotara Fusion’ becomes available.
  • Activate Fusion: Simply use the Rotara Fusion skill, and boom! Roku and Vogita will fuse, transforming the unit into the mighty Super Vogito for the rest of that match.

Super Vogito is considered one of the top-tier DPS units in Anime Vanguards right now, so going through these steps is definitely worth it if you want to unleash maximum damage!
