With Elden Ring being regarded as the best FromSoft game to date, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon had a high standard to live up to and it seems it did for many. It’s a great title for streamers, with one known creator making a new overlay that shows them inside their mech that reacts to gameplay, and even their eventual death in Armored Core VI.

The clip from Shindigs stream on Twitch was shared by streaming reporter HUN2R on Twitter, who showed the overlay reacting to damage to the player. When the player explodes, the screen even becomes fuzzy like transmission has been lost due to the mech exploding. It’s an incredibly innovative way to create an immersive experience for their audience.

Armored Core VI has been a monumentally successful launch for FromSoftware in a month during a year of incredible launches. As is typical with FromSoft titles, it can be incredibly difficult at times, with Shindigs’ viewers likely seeing their mech explode multiple times.

It also appears like the notifications for the stream also appear inside the preview of the VTuber’s mech, with a brief image showing a talking frog. It’s unclear when Shindigs will stream Armored Core VI again, with the last stream being two days ago, but those who want to check out the Shindigs’ overlay live should follow or subscribe to the channel.
