Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe Future Scenario Allegedly Teased in Mirage Data Mine

A file in Assassin's Creed: Mirage shows the game could go into the future, and we have the video here.

Dialogue script files were allegedly found called “AC Neo Tease.” The data miner believes the tease is for a game called “Assassin’s Creed: Neo” which they believe is the real name for “Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe”. The dataminer was able to load the actual dialogue, which is in the video below.

In this video shown in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, there are modern-day people talking. There are some spoilers but all it does is show what happens after the ending to the real-world story. A lot of fans don’t like the real-world aspect of the game, so if you’re like me and you fast-forward through the real-world stuff after Assassin’s Creed 3, then this won’t ruin the gameplay or story you care about.

Basically, the two characters in the video give almost nothing away. They talk about some stuff gathered by William Miles, the last assassin mentor before “The Great Shift.” Fans know him as Desmond’s father. Apparently, they found a data ghost, which is this antenna. It’s really dull at that point until one sentence makes what the leaker said sound true.

The male voice says that the stuff with the Great Shift happened in the 21st century, which he considered as “ancient history.” The female voice doesn’t refute this or even insinuate that he’s exaggerating. This means that it does in fact happen far in the future. Ancient history is normally about 2,000 years ago, so it’s wording that shows how long after the modern games this is taking place.

This could be Ubisoft responding to many fans saying the real-world story is boring now and just interrupts the game they came to play. However, since it’s not in the game anymore, Ubisoft may have abandoned that idea entirely. If it was added to the game, it’d be real confirmation, but at this point, it may just be leftover code.
