Attack on Titan Viewing Order
Attack on Titan is reaching its sunset, and it’s hard to believe how far the series has come. Known as Shingeki no Kyojin in Japan, AoT has been a vastly popular series since its original release, at the time being the only thing anyone could talk about.

It’s not too late for new viewers to get into the series; While the hype has died down a bit since it’s explosive debut, the series still maintains and active and healthy fanbase. And now with most or of the series released, we now have plenty of content to binge and have the contextual understanding of how it all fits into the story.

All that being said, here’s how to experience Attack on Titan:
- Attack on Titan: Season 1 – Season 1 of Attack on Titan follows the first part of the original Manga. Starting here is obviously very important to experiencing the rest of the show properly.
- Attack on Titan: Ilse’s Notebook
- Attack on Titan: No Regrets – Ilse’s Notebook and No Regrets are the first special DVD releases of Attack on Titan. They don’t continue the story of the series on their own, but offer insight into the past of some key characters and should be watched before season 2.
- Attack on Titan Season 2
- Attack on Titan Season 3
- Attack on Titan: Lost Girls – Lost Girls is another DVD release, exploring the characters of Annie Leonhart and Mikasa Ackerman. These two special episodes are best viewed during the Season 3 split.
- Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2
- Attack on Titan: The Final Season
The final season of Attack on Titan is still ongoing, and it’s not certain if there will be any new releases once it ends. However, many fans rumor that an Attack on Titan movie will follow the final seasons’ release. The validity of these rumors are questionable, so I won’t make any speculations about it in this post.
