Season 2 of Warzone Pacific is live and the KG M40 is one of two new weapon additions within the battle royale. So far, the KGM40 is proving to be a contender to other assault rifles such as the STG44, which has been dominant in both Vanguard and Caldera since November. The KG M40 has low recoil with hard-hitting shots, but the weapon needs to be tailored for a Warzone environment.
The Best Attachments for the KG M40 in Warzone Pacific
As an assault rifle, the KG M40 in Warzone Pacific should typically be geared towards medium to long-range engagements. The best comparison to make for the weapon is an STG44 with slightly less speed and more firepower to compensate. With that in mind, the attachments listed below will boost the weakest areas of the weapon, such as speed, while adding further control.

The most important attachments on this KG M40 class are the barrel and grip attachments as usual. Both the Reisdorf 720mm and the M1941 Hand Stop will provide a ton of recoil control to the already steady assault rifle. Because of the other attachments such as the ammo and the rear grip, having a Krausnick 12V stock is also integral to the build.
One of the biggest changes will be the .30-06 50 Round Drums for the magazine slot. These rounds will boost the damage on the weapon at the cost of control and speed. Attachments for the barrel and grips will solve the control issue but speed can still be a problem. Using the Fabric Grip will pick up some of the slack on the ADS of the KG M40.
Choosing the right optic on the KG M40 in Warzone Pacific
While there is an optic listed for the KG M40 loadout above, optics tend to be subjective and situational. The G16 2.5x is usually a safe bet and is the equal of the 3x from the Modern Warfare loadouts. Having a 2.5x equipped makes mid-range engagements far more manageable and recoil won’t be too overbearing.
However, you may want to use a slate reflector depending on your play style. Those sights are essentially neutral and serve as a dot without any vision being blocked. But these sights will take away some of the ranged capabilities of the KG M40. Even a longer range scope can be used, but again, this will make the weapon far more situational.
With these tips in mind, and the full attachment list above, the KG M40 can truly serve as the workhorse assault rifle in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific.
