I solved the clue “ birthplace of science fiction” but I still don’t understand it. I’ve never heard of “ home world” . What is the connection?

    1. Jorge A. Aguilar

Hey! In Science fiction, the birthplace of any civilization is known as their “home world,” so the clue is more of a misdirection. While you’re looking for where science fiction started, the WSJ wants you to use the lingo of science fiction. So for “Where was Science Fiction born?” You’d answer, “it was born on the home world.” In a kind of joking manner. I agree that the WSJ seems to be going pretty far on this one, but that’s just my opinion =D
