In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Call of Duty has announced an Endowment pack known as C.O.D.E. This stands for Call of Duty Endowment. It gives gamers opportunities to show their support for veteran employment. The highlight is the C.O.D.E. Knight Recon: Tracer Pack, which can be used in Modern Warfare III (MW3) and Warzone. It’s apparently inspired by a highly decorated retired Navy SEAL. We got some information from an announcement.

The developer announced that from May 8th to the 22nd, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone players can join the U Assist Veterans In-Game Challenge sponsored by USAA. By completing the challenge, players can earn in-game rewards and support the Endowment with their contributions. It’s literally a way the Military can positively work with Call of Duty.

The pack features themed operator skins, special weapon blueprints with tracer rounds, cosmetic items, and double XP tokens. Activision has pledged to donate all proceeds from the pack to the Endowment’s cause. Additionally, players of Call of Duty: Mobile can buy the C.O.D.E. Regulator Pack. This pack includes the operator “Splicer,” as well as vehicle and weapon skins and other in-game items. Activision will also be donating all proceeds from the pack to support C.O.D.E.

The Call of Duty Endowment has extended its efforts to real-world events, sponsoring the Babcock Trophy British Army vs. Royal Navy Rugby Match on May 4th and partnering with the Texas Rangers baseball team for in-stadium programming honoring veterans on May 15th, 2024.

Since 2009, the Call of Duty Endowment has successfully placed more than 125,000 veterans into high-quality jobs. It’s cost-effective, with an average of $618 to place a veteran, which is much less than many government programs with similar goals. So far, it has helped generate over $7 billion in economic value for veterans and their families.

It’s honestly a really cool thing, and it helps a lot of people. If you like Call of Duty and/or want to support veterans, this is an easy way to do it.
