The FPS genre in gaming is synonymous with Call of Duty, bringing players from all across the world into each new military simulator every year. The next entry into the franchise has been announced, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III being officially teased by Activision on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel, with the release date confirmed for Nov. 10.
The teaser serves as the official announcement, even though there have been leaks on products, and shows off the logo for Modern Warfare III. Players can hear dialogue from one of the main characters and see the faces of a primary character and what looks to be like a specific anime.
Like the original Modern Warfare trilogy, this title will follow the group as they work to track down international terrorists as they threaten the peace in the world for various motivations. If it follows the previous trilogy, it will likely feature a large finale that sees some kind of resolution to the world conflict before Activision moves on.
