Activision has revealed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the free-to-play mobile version of the popular battle royale game, is set to release globally on March 21st, 2024, for both iOS and Android devices. The game has been in a limited release phase since October 2023, during which developers gathered feedback and worked on the game.
Now that it has a release date, players who pre-register for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will receive exclusive rewards when the game launches. These rewards include the Ghost Condemned Operator Skin, M4 Archfiend and X12 Prince of Hell Weapon Blueprints, Foe’s Flame Vinyl, and Dark Familiar Emblem.
According to the announcement post, one of the main features of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is the ability to progress across different platforms. Players can level up their weapons, XP, and Battle Pass across Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Modern Warfare III, and Warzone on consoles and PCs. This allows players to easily advance their accounts regardless of their device.
Additionally, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will feature cross-play support, enabling players on various platforms to join forces and play together. This feature aims to expand the player community and potentially decrease match wait times.
The game will have two main modes: Battle Royale and Multiplayer. In Battle Royale, players can enter either the classic Verdansk map with up to 120 players or the smaller, faster-paced Rebirth Island with support for 48 players. In Multiplayer, players can enjoy classic Call of Duty action on different maps and modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Search & Destroy.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile provides a wide range of customization features, including control adjustments, accessibility settings, and graphics customization. It’s pretty much everything you’d expect from the game. If you’re interested, make sure to register on the official site.
