Capcom is easily one of the industry’s most prominent gaming developers and publishers, continuously producing hit titles for the Resident Evil and Monster Hunter series. According to Capcom‘s most recent financial report, there is a plan to launch one game by March 2024 that will allegedly “sell millions” of copies.

According to Bloomberg reporter Takashi Mochizuki, Capcom has plans to release one announced game at some point before March 2024. There is no other information about what this title would be in the report, leaving many players in the replies to speculate about the different Capcom franchises. One of the more popular suggestions seems to be the next major Monster Hunter title.

That being said, it could be any title from Capcom’s extensive library of series, many of which sell millions of copies with each of the latest entries. Besides Monster Hunter, some other popular suggestions seem to be Resident Evil or Dino Crisis. The former seems much more likely, as MH and RE are arguably the brand’s largest titles, which means either could be a massive seller.

There are still multiple major announcements showcases this year, such as Gamescom next month and The Game Awards later this year. Capcom could easily drop an announcement trailer at either showcase, which seems likely if it plans to build hype for the title ahead of its release by the end of Q1 2024.
