A new 7-Star Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, featuring a battle against a Chesnaught with the Rock Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. The event will run from 00:00 UTC on May 12th through 23:59 UTC on May 14th, and repeat from May 19th through May 21st.

This unique Chesnaught can only be caught once per save file, but players who have already captured it can still participate in Tera Raid Battles to earn other rewards. There’s also a chance that this Chesnaught may appear in future events or become available through alternative methods.

Tera Raid Battles are cooperative events in which players team up with three other Trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon before time runs out. The Pokémon featured in these events can vary, and some may possess a rare Tera Type. To learn which Pokémon are appearing in Tera Raid Battles, players should consult the Poké Portal.

To access Tera Raid Battle events, players need to download the latest Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, followed by Mystery Gift, and then Check Poké Portal News.

After completing certain postgame events, players will be able to use black Tera Raid crystals. Even those who haven’t completed the required events can still join Tera Raid Battles by teaming up with other Trainers in multiplayer. However, a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is necessary to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online.
