Dead Space Remake is a survival-horror game that is a remake of the 2008 game by the same name. The remake was developed by Motive Studio and published by EA. It is set in the 26th century and follows engineer Isaac Clarke who has to survive as he tries to save his crewmates and figure out why USG Ishimura has gone silent. Contact Beam Location
You will find the Contact Beam in Chapter 7, Into the Void, when you are on a mission to reroute power from Mining Administration. You will detour to a records office on the second floor of the ship (you will need level 2 security clearance to access, though). This is an essential weapon and one that Isaac will use throughout the game.
The Contact Beam is an engineering tool that is designed to pound and soften, originally used with respect to precious ores and minerals, but has become a powerful weapon against tough enemies. Its primary fire requires charging before it can be fired, so you have to play wisely when working with this weapon.
