Today, Cult of the Lamb‘s first major content update, Relics of the Old Faith, has received a slew of new content, features, and changes, as part of Version 1.2.0.
Along with the release of Version 1.2.0 is the arrival of the Cult of the Lamb: Heretic Pack DLC. This pack includes a variety of incredible cosmetics, which are as follows:
- 5 brand new follower forms: Moose, Gorilla, Goldfish, Mosquito, and Opossum.
- 8 new base decorations.
- A heretical new Fleece for the Lamb!
Cult of the Lamb‘s Relics of the Old Faith Version 1.2.0 features a new post-game storyline in which, after defeating the final boss, a mysterious otherworldly being gives the Lamb a new task. Every boss has also been revamped with new and tougher attack patterns in the post-game.
Crusading against new challenges will also bring new rewards. The mystic seller will grant the Lamb many valuable items that will allow players to mandate previously missed doctrines, grant new Follower abilities with necklaces and unlock new Follower forms.
Relics of the Old Faith Version 1.2.0 also adds Relics, a completely new combat system for the Lamb to collect and combat. Each of these ideological items, from the Eye of Leshy to Clauneck’s Shoe, will provide a powerful new ability for crusades.
During crusades, players may also come across a curious character called Chemach, the keeper of the Relics of the Old Faith. Interacting with this character will allow players to learn more about these mysterious Relics of the Old Faith and their place in the world.
Each of the 5 weapon types now features a Heavy Attack beginning with Version 1.2.0. Players can now throw their Axe like a boomerang, spawn a ranged assault of Daggers, or spin in a Gauntlet tornado to match the situation.
Photo Mode has also been added in Cult of the Lamb Relics of the Old Faith Version 1.2.0. With this new tool, players may change the angle, zoom in, and decorate with 88 different stickers to make memories in the Cult and during the crusades.
In addition, players can now pause the time at their Cult while crusading on a dungeon run. The ability to pause time will come in extremely useful for those who want to focus on the combat while making sure that the Followers stay healthy.
Several other additions, changes, and fixes were also made as part of Version 1.2.0, which you can read more about on the official Cult of the Lamb website.
