In just three days after its release, Dead Island 2 has already sold over one million units worldwide, according to an announcement from publisher Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios. The game, which has received positive reviews, has provided players with an immersive and engaging gaming experience.

As the numbers indicate, players have spent a total of 11 million hours playing Dead Island 2, during which time they have slain 1.1 billion zombies, sliced 45 million zombies in half, and hacked off 756 million zombie limbs. The total number of player deaths in the game reached an impressive 28 million, more than twice the population of Los Angeles.

Set in a zombie-infested Los Angeles, players find themselves in the midst of a quarantine, with the military having retreated. The fate of the city, as well as humanity, rests in the hands of a few resistant individuals. Dead Island 2 offers a vibrant and stylish gaming environment where players can explore iconic locations, encounter unique characters, and engage in brutal combat to become the ultimate Zombie Slayer.
