Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 may be coming in 2024

According to a reliable leaker, we may be seeing Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 3 in 2024.
Xenoverse Frieza Battle

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is one of the most popular Dragon Ball video game franchises ever made. The fan-favorite fighting games play similar to an MMORPG, allowing players to create their own original Dragon Ball characters to level up and train into the ultimate warriors, learning and combining iconic moves from the series until they’re strong enough to take on the beloved characters who taught them. With two entries in the series already, fans may have reason to get excited for a Xenoverse trilogy in 2024.

In a tweet by Geekdom101, a reliable source for Dragon Ball related leaks, a date is given for both Xenoverse 3 as well as a continuation of the Dragon Ball Super anime. In Twitter user @UchiGang’s stream, Geekdom101 claims that the Dragon Ball Super anime will be continuing in 2023, with Xenoverse 3 following not far behind it in 2024.

Should this leak prove to be true, players can expect very little in the way of Xenoverse 2 updates in the time leading up to the release of Xenoverse 3 in 2024, as most of the development team’s focus will be on the new game. As with the previous title, players should expect to see this game immediately available on the PC as well as Playstation and Xbox consoles. With Xenoverse 2 releasing in 2016, it is definitely plausible that enough time has passed for a new entry in the series to be made.

As with any leak, fans shouldn’t get too excited for the possibility of Xenoverse 3 releasing in 2024. While Geekdom101 has proved to be a reliable source for Dragon Ball related leaks in the past, there is never any certainty that a leak is true. Even they point out that plans could change, so players excited for Xenoverse 3 should manage their expectations.
