Capcom recently announced plans for upcoming patches to enhance the Dragon’s Dogma 2 experience on all platforms. These patches will bring quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and additional graphical settings options for console players.

Capcom has tweeted its plans for big changes for Dragon’s Dogma 2 players. Soon, gamers on platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam can start a new game even if they already have save data. This means they can enjoy the game from the beginning without losing their progress. Keep in mind that all fixes will be for the future, so don’t expect them immediately.

Capcom will increase the stock of “Art of Metamorphosis” items in Pawn Guilds to 99, giving players more options to customize their characters’ appearance. The quest for a personal dwelling, a useful place for resting and saving progress, will also be accessible earlier in the game.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S gamers will soon get some cool customization options for their games. They’ll be able to turn motion blur and ray tracing effects on or off so they can have the visuals they like best. There will also be a new setting for the frame rate, giving players a choice between a variable frame rate for smoother performance or a steady 30fps for a more consistent visual experience. Capcom says that while these changes won’t have a big impact on frame rates initially, they’re planning more improvements in future updates.

Steam players will notice some improvements in the game. The visuals will look better when using DLSS Super Resolution, and Capcom will fix the problem of some models appearing to be of lower quality in certain situations.

Along with these updates, all platforms will receive several bug fixes to make the gameplay smoother. While there are no specific details about the issues being addressed, these patches should lead to fewer interruptions for players in the world of Gransys. According to Capcom, the patches are expected to be released “in the near future” and will be made available as soon as they are ready.
