Dying Light 2 Stay Human ‘Gut Feeling’ update introduces Weapon Crafting, Gear Transmog, and more

Developer Techland has officially released Dying Light 2‘s Gut Feeling update today. Among the significant new features offered by this update include the new gear transmog feature, weapon crafting system, and Viral Rush event, among others. Techland has also introduced the new Pilgrim Outpost, an in-game and online hub for players to activate bounties, track community events, and receive Pilgrim tokens. Players can spend these tokens in the new Pilgrim Outpost and purchase unique, exclusive weapons, outfits, and charms. 

One of the highlights of Dying Light 2‘s Gut Feeling update is the new Gear Transmog feature which allows players to keep both of their best stats and look with the new Appearance slot. In addition, players will now have control over their loadout, thanks to the new weapon crafting system. As players explore the city, they may obtain blueprints that can be used in increasing the stats of the weapon with each level. Players may also receive blueprints through rewards.

Dying Light 2‘s “Viral Rush” event will begin today, April 20th, and will end on May 4th, at 16:00 PM CET. During this event, players will need to improve their combat and nightrunner skills to survive as more roaming and furious virals will spawn. Here are the rewards that players may earn through participating in Dying Light 2‘s “Viral Rush” event: 

Participation Goal:

• Dismember at least one Viral
  • Reward:
    • one Token
    • one Pilgrim Token
    • one Hunter’s Token
    • one Harper’s Token

TGG Participation Goal:

• Dismember at least 100 Virals
  • Reward:
    • Pickaxe Weapon + Blueprint

Personal Goal:

• Dismember at least 1000 Virals
  • Reward:
    • Rahim’s Outfit + Rahim’s Paraglider

TGG Global Goal:

• Dismember at least 80 000 000 Virals
  • Reward:
    • Viral Rahim’s Outfit
