Bethesda Game Studios has officially opened pre-registration for The Elder Scrolls: Castles, their mobile game inspired by the popular Fallout Shelter. It’s launching soon on iOS and Android, and you can go on their pages right now.
The Elder Scrolls: Castles invites players to step into the role of a noble Lord or Lady, tasked with building and managing their own sprawling castle and dynasty in a way that looks almost identical to Fallout Shelter. According to the in-game description, like in Fallout Shelter, players in Castles will oversee their subjects, train them for various roles, assign tasks, and ensure their well-being within the castle walls.
You can pre-register on the Google Play Store and the App Store to receive a notification upon launch in your area. The game will be free-to-play with optional in-app purchases. Fallout Shelter isn’t pay-to-win, so I assume these purchases are optional.
Thanks to the description, We know a good deal about the game. For fans eagerly awaiting The Elder Scrolls 6, Castles offers a bite-sized experience while waiting. You can Build your kingdom, face familiar foes, and etch your name in Tamrielic history with The Elder Scrolls: Castles.
Time passes differently in this realm, with each real-world day representing a full year in-game. So, part of the game is watching generations rise and fall, dynasties shift, and new rulers claim the throne. Beyond domestic affairs, Castles boasts classic Elder Scrolls elements. Embark on epic quests featuring familiar foes like Daedra and dragons, send out your best heroes equipped with legendary gear, and forge diplomatic ties (or rivalries) with neighboring kingdoms.
I loved Fallout: Shelter, and so did many other people. The game became so big that Bethesda started to dedicate team members to it, so I am sure that Elder Scrolls: Castles has a good team with it as well. I have already pre-registered, and I recommend everyone at least try it. It can’t be worse than Blades.
