Epic Games has just launched a big update for their popular Rocket Racing mode in Fortnite. With the v29.40 update, players can now try out two new tracks created by Epic Games. The tracks are “Python” and “Seaside Farms.”
According to the announcement, The first track, Python, is an easy course set in a green jungle environment. Players will need to learn how to drift to navigate its winding, snake-like path and come out as winners. Seaside Farms, on the other hand, is made for more experienced racers as an Advanced track. This course provides thrilling races across scenic pastures but requires skilled play to handle its challenges. Drifting has become a huge part of Rocket Racing, so it’s a smart addition.
The latest update brings some exciting collaborations in honor of Star Wars Day (May 4th). Players can take on a series of Star Wars-themed quests to earn exclusive in-game rewards. Completing seven quests unlocks a Battle Pass Level Up, while finishing all fourteen grants players the unique producing-inspired Energy Binders Trail. Additionally, Fortnite Rocket Racing is featuring special “May the Fourth Quests.” By clearing four quests, players can get Anakin’s Podracer Decal, and complete eight unlocks of the Darth Maul Decal.
The Beskar Bundle has been added for fans of The Mandalorian. It includes cosmetic items inspired by the Beskar steel featured in the series, such as the Beskar Car Body, Beskar-themed wheels, and decals based on characters like Din Djarin, Boba Fett, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Sabine Wren. These items can be used in Rocket Racing and other Fortnite experiences.
Epic Games is really pushing this Star Wars stuff; the company gives new information on what’s coming every day to prepare players for it.
