Elder Scrolls Online Pts 33

The first set of ESO patch notes for 2022 was revealed in preparation for the latest Public Test Server. The Public Test Server will host the first version of the Ascending Tide content drop, which will also be known as Update 33 in The Elder Scrolls Online. Within these notes and the PTS, there will be first looks at all kinds of content that will lead the charge on The Legacy of Bretons year of content.

What are the biggest highlights in the Ascending Tide PTS Patch Notes?

The Ascending Tide update in ESO will bring new content and plenty of new features for players to look forward to. All of those new additions will be available to play in PTS starting today, but it’s important to note that any progress made on the PTS will not transfer to the live server. Many of the changes to features and abilities are also subject to change when Ascending Tide drops on the live servers.

With that said, the biggest slices of content in Update 33 are the two new dungeons, respectively named Coral Aerie and Shipwright’s Regret. These two water-themed dungeons will both come with new achievements, separate difficulty modes, and three new sets to collect along with the monster helmets. No mention has been made of new Motifs in the dungeons yet, but there are two Motifs that are available to test in the PTS. They may appear at a later date and are tied to world events.

Account-wide Achievements and Multi-rider Mounts are the second most notable additions to the PTS and have been requested by ESO fans for a long time. As the first name suggests, most achievements will now be shared across all characters on an account, but certain ones like Motif collections will not. Then there are two new Multi-rider Mounts that will allow you and a friend or companion to ride on the same mount. Players can test these however they’d like on the Update 33 PTS. All of the major additions to the ESO PTS are listed below:

  • Two new dungeons
  • Two new motifs
  • Six new armor sets and two new monster sets
  • Multi-rider Mounts
  • Account-wide Achievements
  • New Outfit Styles
  • Combat changes for classes and weapons
  • Prologue quest for the High Isle Chapter

There is far more to unpack in the ESO Ascending Tide PTS, and almost every system in the game will get some kind of tweak. The live version of Ascending Tide will arrive on March 14th, 2022, and that’s when you’ll be able to try out all the new additions with your own characters.
