Gears of War has confirmed recent leaks and rumors that skins from the hit action-adventure games would soon join Fall Guys. A new announcement today from the official Gears of War feed teases Marcus Fenix, General RAAM, and Kait Diaz.

While Fenix and RAAM will be available in the store tomorrow, Kait is also going to be a reward for viewing more than an hour of The Game Awards tonight on the official TGA Twitch channel:

The Gears of War series has been thriving for well over a decade now, continuing to succeed with each new generation of consoles and gamers by maintaining its signature action and compelling lore.

Aside from some divisive spin-offs, the franchise has been a flagship series for Xbox fans. In fact, many fan responses to today’s Fall Guys announcement were looking to the future of the series, which remains bright as ever.

It’s a little amusing to find such hardcore shooters in Fall Guys, one of the friendliest and casual games on the market, but Fall Guys has been open to just about any crossover ranging from Halo to the recent Doctor Who collaboration in November. The latest season even had a SpongeBob SquarePants tie-in.

Besides, today’s thumbnail does promise some satisfyingly accurate outfits. Fall Guys continues to full commit when it comes to character adaptations, simplifying their designs just enough to fit the game without losing signature details.

However, cosmetics with popular IP are no less expensive than traditional store items. And you were very likely going to watch The Game Awards anyway. Since Fall Guys is free to play, fans have every reason to be rewarded with the Kait Diaz cosmetic, and they’re more of a fan favorite character anyway.
