Fall Guys has been on a winning streak with fans since the launch of Season 4 last week, which introduced the monumental new Creative Construction mode, and a reworked Season Pass system called the Fame Pass that included a Hello Kitty outfit.

Although a lot of Fall Guys cosmetics have borrowed from similarly famous IP, including the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog and even Disney’s Encanto, their original designs can still be quite innovative and charming.

Putting the adorable beans in literal arcade cabinets is a perfect addition for new paid content. Fall Guys always had a breezy, arcade gameplay loop, and its platforming races are certainly reminiscent of the classics’ trial and error.

Further, players can only make those Rounds in Creative right now, so this might be some encouragement for the community to build some retro Rounds. It’d be fascinating to see some recognizable levels from old school games.

It would’ve been nice if the cabinet cosmetics were more distinguishable from each other, though. This pack does feel like you’d be paying for one skin with a couple of variants. Although they are definitely colorful and fun, some inspiration from Street Fighter or Pac-Man would’ve been instantly noticeable. Of course, the new cosmetics will also allow players to create some very interesting combos.
