Fallout 76 just passed its third anniversary and now plans to make this year one to remember with seasonal updates. Players will have to deal with all kinds of new enemies as they tread the familiar Appalachian paths. As one of Bethesda’s most ambitious projects, updates in the past have seen the addition of NPCs, new factions, and visitors from another world. 2022 will be an evolution that will add new events, entities, and more into Fallout 76’s post-nuclear world.
In this article, we’ll lay out everything you need to know about Fallout 76’s 2022 roadmap and what changes are coming to Bethesda’s massive MMORPG.
What’s on Fallout 76’s new roadmap?

The roadmap is split into four seasons with no specific release dates. However, it seems that the spring release Invaders from Beyond will take off where Tales from the Stars was supposed to cover. That is likely to come with other pushed features like CAMP Pets and four-star legendary items.
In the new Invaders from Beyond seasonal event, you’ll have to protect your home against the invasion of aliens bent on conquering Appalachia. In addition, this event will include Public Events, random encounters, new seasonal Public Events, and more. Another feature will be the Fallout Worlds Update which is likely similar to the one released in September 2021 by the same name. All of these features are set to release sometime this spring.
Later Roadmap for Fallout 76
This summer, players will be able to test their strength against some new robot enemy with multiple new public events. In addition, Fallout 76’s 1st Scoreboard is getting an upgrade, which may change players’ rewards or even increase the progress one can make. Finally, there will also be the Season update, letting players refresh their Scoreboards with new rewards.
Fall is going to bring a new location to something called The Pitt. Players will have to go beyond Appalachia to a dangerous area known as The Pitt. This will likely be a part of the new missions that will be introduced and might give out the new rewards that Bethesda has listed during that period.
For Fallout’s silly mascots fans, Nuka-World will be coming to an Appalachia near you this winter. There will also be new public events, a region boss, and it looks like Cappy might be holding a gun in the preview. This update, seemingly inspired by touring circuses, looks like a darkly whimsical journey that makes Fallout 76 shine.
That’s all Bethesda has released about Fallout 76 on its 2022 roadmap, but more information about the spring content is likely coming soon.
