GIANTS Software has released the first gameplay trailer for Farming Simulator 23, offering a glimpse into the game’s exciting new features and enhancements. Set to launch on May 23rd for Nintendo Switch, Farming Simulator 23 aims to raise the bar for mobile farming games, building on the success of the globally renowned Farming Simulator brand that began 15 years ago.
In Farming Simulator 23, players can create a comprehensive agricultural empire that includes farming, animal husbandry, and forestry. They can cultivate a variety of crops, including new additions like grapes, olives, and sorghum, and engage in various field activities such as plowing and weeding. The game introduces over 130 authentic machines on the Switch and 100+ in the mobile version, allowing players to seed, grow, and harvest 14 different crops.
Animal husbandry is another significant aspect of the game, with players able to tend to cows, horses, pigs, sheep, and the newly added chickens, as featured in the cinematic trailer. By mastering new field mechanics and producing valuable goods, players can expand their businesses and optimize their chosen production chains.
Farming Simulator 23 offers two diverse maps inspired by environments in the USA and Europe, providing players with the flexibility to tailor their farming approach according to their preferences. In addition to operating realistic tractors, harvesters, field sprayers, and more, players can establish production chains, transport goods using powerful trucks, and tend to various farm animals.
New gameplay features include plowing and weeding, while the game also offers a tutorial mode, AI helper, and a new autoload feature for logs and pallets, making it easier for players to get started on the farm. With a wealth of possibilities on the two new maps, complete with collectibles, players can decide what kind of farmer they want to be.
After completing tasks like plowing, weeding, and harvesting crops, players can produce valuable goods from their harvest and expand their thriving businesses with new factories and production chains. As they progress, players can enjoy the changing visuals through the atmospheric seasons, ensuring that there is always time to relax and enjoy their vast arable land.
Farming Simulator 23 is available for pre-order at selected retail stores and the Nintendo eShop. Enhanced in-game tutorials ensure that even newcomers to country life can easily start farming and let the good times grow.
