Square Enix revealed some details about the upcoming patch 6.3 of Final Fantasy XIV in the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXIV. The program was led by director Naoki Yoshida and community producer Toshio Murouchi. Final Fantasy XIV’s patch 6.3 is titled “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble” and will be released in January 2023.
According to the the livestream, Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.3 will release a new MSQ dungeon called Lapis Manalis. The Lapis Manalis scenery shows a blueish rocky cave. Lapis Manalis will be included as a part of the new Main Scenario content, where players can visit in the story mode. Additionally to the cavern, Lapis Manalis also contains a snowy mountain.
A new Trial content was also teased in addition to the new new MSQ dungeon. However, details concerning the dungeon are not yet revealed. One thing for sure is that the Trial will have an Extreme difficulty version. The subsequent unreal Trial is called the Sophia Trial. Players can play Sophia in the Containment Bay P1T6 after the Warring Triad bosses. Afterward, Yoshida teases the fifth Ultimate Raid. Subsequently to the previous Ultimate Raids, the newest Ultimate Raid will release two weeks after the release of 6.3. The details regarding this Raid on who it will be has yet to be revealed.
A new Deep Dungeon will also be released in Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.3 called Eureka Orthos. However, to enter the dungeon, players must progress to floor 50 of the Palace of the Dead and must first complete the “Endwalker” main scenario. Furthermore, the new update will bring new raid content in the Myths of the Realm series in the form of Alliance Raid. Alliance Raids can accommodate 24 players. A Treasure Hunt will also happen in The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon. Gymnasion Agonon will be accessible through the Elpis-centric treasure map.
For the PvP update, a new arena, that looks like the interior of Kugane Castle, for Crystalline Conflict will be released. Meanwhile, the Series 3 will begin with the release of Patch 6.3 and Season 5 of Crystalline Conflict.
