Cults Curse Cursed Sea Event in Fisch Overview Guide

How to Start the Cursed Event in Fisch

The Cursed Event has already begun in Fisch! Here’s how to jump in:

  1. Find Silas: Head to Moosewood Island and look for the NPC named Silas. He’s located near the docks (coordinates: 338, 136, 343). There is a little island off Moosewood, south of the docks.
  2. Talk to Silas: When you talk to Silas, he’ll teleport you to a special, isolated cave – this is the Cults Curse event area (coordinates: 655, 2130, 16984 – outside the normal map boundaries).
  3. Exit – To exit the room, you must touch the door at the end of the corridor, and you’ll be transported back to Moosewood.

The “Fish Caught” Chart and Community Goal

Inside the Cults Curse cave, you’ll see a large chart in the center labeled “Fish Caught.” This chart is the heart of the event.

  • Community Goal: The goal is for all Fisch players, across all servers (both public and private), to collectively catch a huge number of fish. The target is 500 million fish caught by March 29th, 2025, 12:00 UTC.
  • Milestones and Rewards: As the total number of fish caught increases, the community will reach specific milestones. Each milestone unlocks a reward for everyone in the game.
  • How to Contribute: Just fish! Every fish you catch, anywhere in the game, contributes to the global total.

Cursed Sea Event Rewards

Here’s a table summarizing the rewards and the milestones needed to unlock them:

  • Claiming Rewards: Once a milestone is reached, you can claim the unlocked reward at the altar located on the right side of the Cults Curse room.

How to Get the Cursed Storm Totem

Once the community reaches the 142.8 million fish caught milestone, the Cursed Storm Totem becomes available for purchase.

  • Cost: C$1,000,000 (in-game currency)
  • Location: You can buy the totem inside the Cults Curse room.
  • What it Does: Activating a Cursed Storm Totem creates a special, localized weather event called a Cursed Storm.

Cursed Storms: Weather, Mutations, and Totems

Cursed Storms are a key part of the event. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Appearance: A Cursed Storm appears as a green cloud, usually just off the coast of Moosewood.
  • Benefits:
    • Double XP: All fish caught within the Cursed Storm area grant double experience points (XP).
    • Cursed Mutation: Fish caught in the storm have a 5% chance to have the new Cursed Mutation. This mutation likely increases their value.
  • Spawning Cursed Storms:
    • Natural Spawns: During the Cursed Event, Cursed Storms have a low chance of spawning naturally at the start of any in-game day. These natural storms last until the end of the day. A server-wide notification will announce the start of a Cursed Storm, but there’s no notification when it ends.
    • Cursed Storm Totem: You can manually trigger a Cursed Storm by using a Cursed Storm Totem. When you use the totem, a server-wide message will announce the location of the storm (e.g., “Cursed Storm at Snowcap Island”).
    • Sundial Totem – Using a Sundial Totem will end a Cursed Storm early.
  • Using Totems After the Event: Even after the Cursed Event ends (on March 29th), any Cursed Storm Totems you have can still be used to create storms.

How to Catch All 8 Fishes in Cults Curse (Cults Curse Pool)

Reaching the 285.7 million fish caught milestone unlocks access to the Cults Curse Pool, which contains eight exclusive, limited-time fish.

  • Location: The Cults Curse Pool is located inside the Cults Curse room, on the left side.
