How to Get the Relic Rod in Fisch – Complete Guide

To obtain the Relic Rod in Fisch, you must collect all ten bones for Dr. Finneus. Once you’ve gathered the bones, you will receive a handwritten note. Use this note to complete a puzzle involving a stone tablet pedestal. After solving the puzzle, you can purchase the Relic Rod for C$8,000.

How to Find Dr. Finneus in Fisch

Dr. Finneus, the quest giver, is located on a barge at coordinates (1170, 130, 2460). This is in the open ocean between Terrapin and Snowcap. While you can talk to him beforehand to see the bestiary, it’s not necessary to start the quest.

All Fisch Archeological Hunt Prehistoric Bone Locations

For the Archeological Hunt, you must find ten prehistoric bones scattered all over Fisch’s world. The bones have no special bait or weather requirements, so use your best Universal Luck/Lure Speed bait.

After collecting all ten bones, return to Dr. Finneus. He’ll give you a handwritten note with an ancient code showing the Archeological Site (4040, 130, 80) and a solution to the stone puzzle.

How to Solve the Stone Tablet Puzzle

The stone tablet puzzle is found at the Archeological Site. The map Dr. Finneus gives you contains a 3×3 grid of symbols corresponding to the puzzle. The handwritten note reveals the correct order to press the symbols.

  • Symbol Grid:
    • Top Row: Symbols 1, 2, 3
    • Middle Row: Symbols 4, 5, 6
    • Bottom Row: Symbols 7, 8, 9
  • Solution: Press the symbols in the left-to-right order shown on the handwritten note.
    • So our code shown in the image above is: 9, 1, 4, 3, 6, 2, 8, 5, 7

Solving the puzzle opens a hidden stone door directly in front of you. Follow the path leading down to find the Relic Rod available for purchase for C$8,000.
