How to Get the Spirit Rod in Fisch

To get the Spirit Rod in Fisch, you need to complete at least 70% of the Second Sea Bestiary and then head to the Isle of New Beginnings to purchase it for 200,000 E$ (the Second Sea currency).

Meeting the Bestiary Requirement in Fisch

This is the main hurdle you need to clear before you can even think about buying the rod:

  • Requirement: You must have at least 70% completion of the Second Sea Bestiary.
  • What This Means: You need to catch a lot of the different fish species available in the Second Sea across its various islands.
  • Get Started Early: The sooner you start working on that Bestiary, the better. As new updates add more fish, reaching that 70% mark might become more time-consuming. So, explore those new islands and catch everything you can!

Finding and Buying the Spirit Rod in Fisch

Once you’ve put in the work and hit that 70% Bestiary completion mark, you can claim your prize:

  1. Go to the Second Sea: Make sure you are actually in the Cursed Sea (Second Sea) world. You can’t get this rod in the First Sea.
  2. Head to the Isle of New Beginnings: Travel to the starting island of the Second Sea, the Isle of New Beginnings.
  3. Locate the Rod: Look for the Angler [Quests] NPC. The Free Spirit Rod is located right behind him.
  4. Exact Coordinates: If you’re having trouble finding it, the exact coordinates are -385, 80, -385.
  5. Purchase the Rod: Interact with the rod. As long as you meet the 70% Bestiary requirement, you can purchase it for 200,000 E$. Make sure you’ve saved up enough Second Sea currency!

Spirit Rod Stats and Passive in Fisch

So, what makes this rod worth the effort? It’s a solid mid-game option for the Second Sea with balanced stats and a great money-making passive:

  • Price: 200,000 E$ (plus the 70% Second Sea Bestiary completion)
  • Lure Speed: 25%
  • Luck: 150%
  • Control: 0.15
  • Resilience: 10%
  • Max Weight: 5,000kg
  • Passive Ability: The rod has a 20% chance to make purple gemstones rain down. When this happens, any fish caught during the gemstone rain will have the Bloom effect, which multiplies its value by five times (5x)!

Enchantment Tips: Because of its money-making potential, good enchants to aim for on the Spirit Rod include Hasty (faster reeling?), Quantum (better stats?) or anything else that might boost luck or value further.

That’s everything you need to know to snag the Spirit Rod. It’s a fantastic tool for progressing through the Second Sea and earning some serious cash.
