How to Get the Stone Rod in Fisch [Ancient Isles]

Finding the Stone Rod in Fisch requires a journey to the Ancient Isles.

  1. Sailing East from Moosewood: Start at Moosewood and sail east. Be careful! The path to Ancient Isle is filled with traps and explosives that can damage your boat.
  2. Reaching Ancient Isle: The Ancient Isles are located at (5512, 129, 472).
  3. Locating the Small Island: Head to the far left (west) side of the island. Find the small island northeast of the main island area.
  1. Finding the Stone Rod: On this small island, you’ll see a pirate next to an empty treasure chest. Behind him is a building with a door and two crates. The Stone Rod is on top of these crates (coordinates: 5500, 143, -316). It costs 3000C$.

Stone Rod Stats

The Stone Rod’s stats are quite disappointing:

  • Lure Speed: -25%
  • Luck: 10%
  • Control: 0
  • Resilience: 5%
  • Max Weight of Fish (kg): 900kg

These stats make it one of the worst rods in the game. The negative Lure Speed and low max weight are major drawbacks.

Should I Buy the Stone Rod?

Honestly, the Stone Rod is more of a collector’s item than a useful tool.  Much better rods are available, like the Steady Rod or King’s Rod.  The minor luck and resilience boosts don’t justify the 3000C$ price tag.  Only buy it if you’re a completionist and want every rod in the game.
