How to Use Treasure Maps in Fisch – Getting, Fixing & All Treasures Guide

Where to Find a Treasure Map in Fisch

Finding a Treasure Map can be a stroke of luck as they are rare random drops from regular fishing expeditions in Fisch. Treasure Maps are not guaranteed drops from fishing; their appearance depends on chance.

Some players may find them quickly, while others might spend hours without finding one. Once you do reel in a map, the next step is restoring it to a readable condition.

How to Fix a Treasure Map in Fisch

Head to the Forsaken Shores pirate area, located southwest of Moosewood near Rosalit Bay. Seek out Captain Jack Marrow, an NPC residing within an illuminated cave on the cliffsides. His coordinates are (-2825, 215, 1515). For a fee of 250C$, he will repair your water-damaged map and make its cryptic markings decipherable.

How to Find the Treasure Map Locations in Fisch

The restored map will display coordinates (X, Y, Z) indicating the treasure’s location. To navigate using these coordinates, purchase a GPS device from Moosewood for 100C$. This tool allows you to match your current position with the coordinates on the map.

Understanding Treasure Coordinates

  • The X coordinate is how far east or west your treasure is located.
  • The Y coordinate indicates how far up or down (north or south) your treasure is positioned.
  • The Z coordinate shows how far north or south your treasure is located.

Navigating to the Treasure in Fisch

Match your location using the GPS and the X coordinate on the map. Then, travel either north or south in a straight line until you reach the correct Y coordinate. Use any landmarks indicated on the map as visual guides for accurate positioning.

Remember that coordinates can be positive or negative values; double-check if you’re struggling to locate the chest. Some players have reported being able to return to Jack Marrow and have him fix the map again for a new, hopefully easier, location.
