Fort Solis, the upcoming sci-fi narrative adventure game developed by Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games, and published by Dear Villagers, has officially announced its release date as August 22 for PC and PlayStation 5. The exciting news was unveiled through a new trailer, featuring the renowned voice actor Troy Baker.
The story of Fort Solis unfolds over one long night on Mars. It follows the journey of Jack Leary, an engineer who responds to an alarm call from a neighboring base, only to find himself in the dark and desolate Fort Solis. The game features an exceptional cast of voice actors, starring Roger Clark as Jack Leary, Troy Baker as Wyatt Taylor, and Julia Brown as Jessica Appleton.
Highlighting its cinematic approach, Fort Solis showcases visually stunning scenes that enhance the overall sci-fi thriller experience. In the latest trailer, Troy Baker shares his excitement about joining the project. He revealed that over two years ago, he received a call from director James Tinsdale of Fallen Leaf Studio, who invited him to be part of Fort Solis. Baker expressed his excitement upon learning that he would be working with his dear friend Roger Clark, renowned for his portrayal of Arthur Morgan in the critically acclaimed 2018 Red Dead Redemption 2. Baker also provided insights into what fans can expect from Fort Solis, expressing admiration for its exceptional cast, gripping story, and immersive, action-packed gameplay.
As previously announced, Merge Games and Dear Villagers have collaborated to bring the PS5 physical edition of Fort Solis across North America. This edition comes with a downloadable Art Book and Soundtrack of the game. Fort Solis will also be available for the Xbox Series X|S, although a specific release date for this version has yet to be revealed.
