Fortnite‘s v25.11 update on June 27 brought a lot of surprises to the title like new partnerships with content creators and a new variant on a fan-favorite cosmetic. However, what might get less noticed is the realistic looking barbarian skin that leakers are saying is a crossover between the MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online on Fortnite.
According to a tweet from known Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey on Twitter, the concept is called “Folk Evening” and it is currently encrypted in the gaming icon rarity. This paired with the style has lead the data miners to assume that it will be an ESO collaboration. It could likely be an effort to promote the title following the release of the Necrom update on June 5.
The Elder Scrolls collaboration follows other cosmetics from Bethesda being brought into Fortnite, including the Doom protagonist who was a part of the battle pass in Chapter Four, season one. If this skin does well it will likely mean the developer’s other properties could get added too.
The Elder Scrolls Online is an incredibly popular MMORPG and remains the latest main entry into the series that hasn’t seen a new title since 2011, with The Elder Scrolls VI not expected to release for the next five years, at least. Regardless, players can roleplay as their favorite Nordic warrior with the barbarian skin expected to release sometime soon.
This is a developing story and more information will be added as it becomes available. Make sure to check back at Try Hard Guides for all the latest information on Fortnite‘s v25.11 update on June 27.
