Fortnite’s Festival Season 2 is coming to an end with two big events: a celebration of the famous music festival, Coachella, and the return of a collaboration with Lady Gaga. This finale brings new content, ways for players to express themselves, and a chance to see cool stuff from past in-game events.

The Fortnite x Coachella crossover will run from April 11th, 2024, to April 22nd, 2024, introducing a lot of new in-game features. Players can access astronaut-themed Outfits, Horizon and Cosma, along with dynamic add-ons such as the Interstellar Butterfly Back Bling, Coachella Pulse Pickaxe, and Soft Synth Wrap. Additionally, there will be emotes inspired by songs from artists Doja Cat and Sabrina Carpenter.

Players can listen to Jam Tracks from Coachella 2024 performers at the Festival Main Stage. Featured artists include Bleachers, Blur, Lil Uzi Vert, PinkPantheress, Ice Spice, and more. These tracks will also be available at the Item Shop for those who want to continue the fun. Additionally, J Balvin is returning with the fiery ‘Inferno Skeleton Balvin’ Outfit, the Zappy-Go-Backy Back Bling, and the Mi Gente Jam Track.

Content creators in the Support-A-Creator (SAC) program can take advantage of a special opportunity from April 11th to 18th. During this time, they can upload VOD content on YouTube with the Coachella 2024 Jam Tracks, which could help them earn money from their videos.

Alongside Coachella, Fortnite is hosting a new “Fortography” contest called Gaga, Ooh La La, to celebrate Lady Gaga’s legacy. Players can submit creative screenshots capturing Lady Gaga’s energy in the game, whether it’s through her themed cosmetics, music video recreations, or performance spirit. The contest will end on April 15th, and Fortnite will feature the best submissions in an upcoming blog post.

The end of Fortnite Festival Season 2 is expected to feature a star-studded send-off for players. It will introduce new ways to customize characters, enjoy fresh tunes, and participate in a creative contest inspired by a major pop music icon. It’s pretty cool all together, and will likely bring in a great Season 3 too.
