Xbox Game Pass subscribers will soon be able to raid and conquer because Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will finally arrive on the service on January 9, 2024. This is one of the few in the franchise that is not on Game Pass, so it’s an exciting find. Other huge games like Hell Let Loose and the Resident Evil 2 remake are also coming.
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you explore England’s Dark Ages as the legendary Viking warrior Eivor. You can grow your settlement and build your power. It’s a worthwhile game, and Xbox featuring it front and center shows how much of a steal it is.
Soon, subscribers will be able to fight on the battlefields of World War II in the intense hardcore shooter Hell Let Loose, available on January 4. For those who have TikTok and watch any gaming videos on there, you’ve likely seen Hell Let Loose videos. It’s pretty intense.

The full list is:
- Hell Let Loose – January 4
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – January 9
- Figment – January 9
- We Happy Few – January 9
- Super Mega Baseball 4 – January 11
- Resident Evil 2 – January 16
- Those Who Remain – January 16
Unfortunately, that means many other games are leaving, too. Grand Theft Auto V is leaving on January 5. So, if you liked the game and need to fill your GTA cup, you’re going to need to pay for it. Meanwhile, we’ll see Garden Story’s charming pixelated adventure, MotoGP 22’s high-speed racing thrills, and the Persona RPG duo of Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable, all saying goodbye on January 15.
The full list of games that are leaving:
January 5
- Grand Theft Auto V
January 15
- Garden Story
- MotoGP 22
- Persona 3 Portable
- Persona 4 Golden
January is a pretty good month to be a Game Pass subscriber. Hell Let Loose, Resident Evil 2, and We Happy Few were games I didn’t expect to see on this list, so it’s a great month.
