There has been a lot of speculation about Nintendo’s next console following the massively popular Switch system that’s once again vaulted the company into the spotlight. With all the rumors, gaming insider and journalist Jeff Grubb has given some information about the alleged Nintendo Switch announcement, claiming that it could come by December this year.
Grubb stated this during a live stream on his YouTube channel under the header about the potential for news about the Nintendo Switch 2. In discussing the timeline for when it can be announced, he says, “That does line up with what I’ve heard pretty much all year, that there will be some kind of announcement in this second half… in December.”

Rumors about a new version of the Nintendo Switch have been circulating recently after leaks began appearing online that devkits for the system were being sent out to developers soon. There has been no confirmation, but Nintendo is known to not speak on new games or hardware until it is within months to a year of release.
With the Nintendo Switch being such a hit console, many are expecting the next version to be even more monumental for the famous publisher.
