As Genshin Impact‘s current version 2.6 continues to win the heart of its players more and more, new leaks regarding the game’s upcoming version 2.7, its new mechanics, and new characters, continue to surface on an almost daily basis.

With that said, this time, known leaker Project Celestia revealed that a significant change in the game’s Battle Pass system may take place in the new version. According to the leaker, in a post on Twitter, the requirement to level up in the system has been decreased from 1,000 to 600 XP in the game’s current beta.

Also, according to Project Celestia, both the Battle Pass rewards and its missions have not been changed.

The new leak regarding Genshin Impact’s version 2.7 has left many fans in awe, as it will reduce the total XP needed to reach level 50 from 50,000 to 30,000 XP. Many people are also questioning if the change may be only the beginning of a complete rework in the game’s Battle Pass system, present since launch.

Apart from the possible changes in the game’s Battle Pass system, Genshin Impact’s upcoming version 2.7 is set to feature the playable debut of both 5-star Hydro Archer Yelan and 4-star Electro Sword user Kuki Shinobu. The game’s version 2.7 is also set to bring to players a wide range of new quests, as well as a new free 4-star weapon. Genshin Impact’s upcoming version 2.7 is expected to be released in less than 30 days.
