Along with the latest Character Banners, time-limited events, and story quests, the Genshin Impact Version 2.7 introduces a new Hangout Event that will center on the Inazuma character, Kuki Shinobu.
Genshin Impact 2.7 Special Program recently went live to reveal all the contents of the upcoming update. Among the awaited content is the debut of Kuki Shinobu, a 4-star Electro vision holder. Kuki Shinobu has been a part of previously leaked content. Since then, fans have been looking forward to her arrival as a playable character in forthcoming updates. Hangout Events are special story quests that can be replayed and have a variety of endings, all of which are determined by the choices that players make when engaging in a dialogue with the featured character. During the Kuki Shinobu Hangout Event, players will have the opportunity to interact with her and divulge further information on her life in the Arataki Gang and her back story. As such, Travelers may anticipate the appearance of more Arataki Gang members during the Hangout Event. Furthermore, Yanfei of Liyue could potentially make an appearance in Kuki Shinobu’s Hangout, since it was revealed in the 2.7 Special Program that they are acquainted with each other.
Kuki Shinobu was introduced as the Arataki Gang’s Deputy leader and the sidekick of Arataki Itto. She is designed with the same height as Ayaka and the female Traveler. Kuki Shinobu also wears a mask, a reference to her name “Shinobu” which translates to “ninja.” Itto could always count on Kuki Shinobu to come to his rescue whenever he found himself in a messy situation since Shinobu was recognized for being a capable and reliable Deputy leader. Additionally, Kuki Shinobu was revealed to be a former shrine maiden, since her family had served as shrine maidens at the Grand Narukami Shrine for a very long time. Shinobu’s Hangout event may shed additional light on both her family and the shrine maidens of Grand Narukami Shrine.
