After many rumors and speculations, HoYoverse finally revealed that Genshin Impact 2.7 will be delayed indefinitely. This came off as quite a disappointment for the fanbase, but many players can only hope that whatever is causing this issue can be resolved soon.

When this announcement was delivered, the developer promised the fans that more information will be revealed in the future. This includes the release date of Genshin Impact 2.7, content adjustment, and players’ compensation. Finally, the planned compensation for the version delay has been announced.

All Travelers with Adventure Rank 5 or above will be compensated with the following items every week:

  • Primogem x400
  • Fragile Resin x1
  • Hero’s Wit x7
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore x16
  • Mora x120,000

The compensation will be given via in-game mail every Wednesday starting from May 11, and if Genshin Impact 2.7 is released before the next Wednesday, then the sum of the items will be adjusted accordingly. Remember that the mail will expire after 30 days and can only be claimed during Genshin Impact 2.6, so don’t forget to take them.

Until Genshin Impact 2.7 is released, Travelers have to settle with the third phase of version 2.6, where HoYoverse prolonged the duration of Ayaka’s banner and prepared some additional events to fill the current patch. For instance, you can soon play the Spices From The West event (that previously got canceled). Additionally, those who still wish to get Kamisato Ayaka are in luck. They have far more time to bring the Cryo Princess into their party, along with her signature sword, Mistsplitter Reforged. Of course, the currently highlighted Claymore, The Unforged, will accompany the purple sword on the weapon banner. On the other hand, people who are planning to get Yelan or Kuki Shinobu in Genshin Impact 2.7 will have far more time to save their precious Primogems.

The Genshin Impact 2.7 delay may be disappointing, but you can use this time gap to better manage your Primogems count. Make sure to check out our Genshin Impact section to keep yourself up-to-date on the most recent updates of version 2.7.
