HoYoverse, the company that created popular games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, has started accepting pre-registrations for its upcoming game, Zenless Zone Zero. The game is described as an urban fantasy action RPG, showing the company’s focus on action-packed gameplay. Zenless Zone Zero will be launched on various platforms, including PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android devices.
Anyone interested can sign up in advance for Zenless Zone Zero via the PlayStation Store, Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Epic Games Store, or the game’s official website. HoYoverse is offering extra incentives for early registration by organizing an event with special in-game bonuses. These bonuses consist of in-game money, characters, and other items that are made available as the global pre-registration numbers hit certain targets.
While HoYoverse has not yet announced a release date, the Apple App Store indicates the game may be available in early July 2024. On the other hand, the Google Play Store currently displays the release date as “Coming Soon,” and PlayStation says “Announced.”
Zenless Zone Zero is set in New Eridu, a city that has turned into a sanctuary after an apocalyptic event called “The Hollows.” Players take on the role of “Proxies” who lead characters through the city, fighting monsters known as Ethereals and uncovering the secrets of the Hollows. It looks a lot like Persona 4 to me, but only because of the TVs and the fantasy characters near the regular humans. We will know more as the game gets closer to release.
Given the popularity of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, there will obviously be a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming release of Zenless Zone Zero. Fans of action RPGs and anyone who enjoyed HoYoverse’s previous games should stay tuned as the release date approaches.
